Horses and Cars

This one was borne out of Peaky Blinders and the amazing time in history when horses outnumbered cars in cities and towns.

We used to take care of animals. We would wash our horses, dry them and clean their hooves. Because they needed it and we needed them.

Then we did the same with our cars. Polish and buff and shine them so though they sputtered, they would shine real black. Though they didn’t need it, but we did.

Then we stopped shining the cars, Because they didn’t need it and We didn’t need it.

We don’t want cars anymore Because they sputter. And we can’t have horses Because they don’t fit.
