Belong(s)

Corners of buildings
belong to the dogs
Insides of buildings
belong to the few
Flowers in gardens
belong to the wise
Shoes even makeshift
belong to the upstart
Sidewalks in cities
belong to the vigilant
Goose-down bed linens
belong to the north folk
Dusty corruption
belongs to the south folk
Dogs those fur balls
belong to the lonely
Ambition cold or hot
belongs to the fierce
Everything
belongs to toddlers
I
belong to myself
